Mantova to (the other side of) Lake Garda

We actually retraced our steps today, although it took a while to realise!! Riding along the (Mincio?) river is still nice ;) and this time we stopped for coffee and croissants at a very pleasant cafe.

The route became even prettier as we approached Lake Garda (again), but things deteriorated once we were very close. It's just so busy!!! Avoid if you do not enjoy crowds of tourists and lots of traffic.

We stayed at Camping Bruno, which is a nice enough spot.....however, we had some very noisy neighbours who marred things somewhat. Fortunately they were only day visitors and left at about 9pm, result!! For once we are out - excellent pizza and aperol - just what we needed.

Bruno actually gave us a very good deal - 25 euros for 3 people in 2 tents!!
