We'd intended to split this journey into two days by camping at an Agriturismo. However, we cycled right past it without seeing it, and only realised 5km later! So, we kept going.....

I'd say it was the 'scenic' route, but mostly it was just 15km longer than going direct. The bit into Bologna was rubbish and busy - possibly our own fault for arriving at 4pm, but there you go.

We had an easy evening back at the campsite we'd stayed at 7 weeks ago! 35 euros but it's pretty good. My parents arrive tomorrow so we have 6 days of rest and luxury, hooray. Then our friend Carol arrived and we're officially heading HOME!
