After 23 days off the bikes, things were a little sluggish this morning! However, once we'd stopped for iced thai tea / coffee, we perked up, It's an easy, if not very exciting, ride along highway 4. The road undulates very gently - more like false flat and then freebie descents.

We are staying at Srikanlaya resort, a couple of km off the highway (it's on google and maps.me). It's really peaceful and in a nice spot overlooking the water. Very nice room with aircon for 500 baht, but the absence of restaurants is notable. We have food to cook and provisions for breakfast, and I'd advise you to do the same.
