A great day of eating and wandering. Top tips for veggies!

Breakfast was firstly at the veggie Banh Mi stand: https://www.happycow.net/reviews/my-chay-tam-duc-hue-48666 which is highly recommended....we also spotted at least three 'chay' bun noodle stands...so we went to the one next the the banh mi stand immediately afterwards.....also incredibly delicious! Not sure if this was just a Saturday thing though (they weren't there on Sunday). But ridiculously cheap.

Lunch was at Lien Hoa - also veggie. It was absolutely packed. We had the 'steampot' (hotpot / steamboat / shabbu shabu) and it was fabulous. They also looked after us extremely well. I think it was 70,000 for the two of us - pretty good.

Dinner was at Phuong Nam - really great food in a very Vietnamese setting (but the whole menu is in English and French, AND they speak English).

All in all, an excellent day of eating for not much money!!

We really liked Hue - not so much the bit around the Imperial City but the rest of it!
