Saarlouis to Sierck-les-bains (technically back in France!)

We were in need of a fairly easy day today. This wasn't as easy as we'd hoped!!

Eurovelo 5 isn't signed in Germany, so we followed a combination of the route off the app, and the GPS that we found online. It was a lovely ride but fairly 'undulating', and it was a windy day! Very quiet indeed anal we both agreed that we much prefer backroads to boring cycle paths along rivers..... Lot s of fruit growing which we may have sampled.....

You do finally descend down to the Mosel / Moselle, and back into wine country. It all looked very lovely with the autumn colours (and we do like wine regions, as you might have noticed, ha ha!). WE're actually stayed back in France at Les Tilleuls camping.....it's nice but the showers were COLD, Ed says you can't have it all for 10.50 euros.....

We haven't really been in the country for long enough to warrant a summary and discussion of the route!!
