We've booked to go wine tasting in Bergheim tomorrow, so had a short day today! Lovely cycling again. We had an extended stop to explore Eguisheim which is almost TOO pretty. Quite a few tourists but ok.....wouldn't want to be there in high season though!! We finally plucked up the courage to go into one of the 'caves' and taste some wine. My French is better than I think it is so I'm always a bit reticent, and then glad I tried! We tried 3 wines and bought a bottle of yummy Gewurtztraminer for this evening.

Then we meandered through the vineyards once again, and turned off the route only to head towards Camping Riquewihr. It must be in 'the book' that everyone uses as it must be nearly full - quite the contrast to the municipal sites we've been to over the last few days! Still only 14.50 and while the facilities don't offer any more functionality, it does feel a bit more plush.

Another short day tomorrow with some wine drinking at halfway!
