Oh my, tough day!!! The climb over the Passo Duran is one thing. It starts off with a very steep section, but then becomes more reasonable...but still steep. Stunning views and quiet little road. The descent is awesome to!

After Agordo, things went a bit pear shaped. Firstly, there are a couple of long tunnels. The first is fairly easy to get around. The second involved some deep gravel, and then a blockade which we had to lift the bikes over. In addition, after the tunnels you still have about 8km of climbing. Ed reckons it was fairly gentle but it pretty much finished me off!!

THEN there was a massive downpour. Fortunately we were shopping at the time. It does mean the campsite is pretty soggy though! Sick of damp camping now.....
