The European chapter!

We've felt pretty disappointed that our main cycling adventure ended after NZ's North Island. We did thoroughly enjoy our time there off the bikes, and have also loved Australia, but something wasn't sitting right...... Until we decided to fly back to Europe a bit earlier, and have another proper chunk of cycle touring before we give in to the real world once again. Bologna here we come!

The rough plan is to spend 6 weeks cycling a loop from Bologna, into Slovenia, Austria, and back over the dolomites. We're booked in for a week in Bologna with my parents in early September, after which (Assuming we haven't run out of money, which is looking very possible!) we hope to follow Eurovelo 5 through Switzerland, and just nip through France and Germany to Luxembourg. After that will depend on the weather and how we're feeling!
