Yong Peng to Kulai: Not recommended :(

This has to go down as one of our least favourite rides ever. It started out OK, but eventually highway 1 loses its shoulder and gains A LOT of trucks, some of whom are pretty impatient about overtaking. No fun at all - downright scary in fact. If you're coming this way and have time to find a different route, do it!

On the upside, we had a fabulous veggie lunch at Ji Yuan restaurant (marked on google and listed on Happy Cow). Every time we eat in one of these Chinese places, I declare it to be my favourite. But this one was something special!

To top it all off, Hotel 45 is also rather good. 65RM for a small but perfectly formed room (albeit without a window). Extremely friendly staff too.

And we have takeaway for dinner :)
