Chiang Mai to Chom Thong

We retraced our steps along the Ping river, and kept going for as long as possible to avoid the 108. We've since ridden on this road, and we're glad we avoided it for the most part!

Chom Thong is a small place but we quite liked it. The Main Street is busy and typically ugly, but the back streets are leafy, with lovely wooden houses, and a backdrop of mountains.

Instant noodles for lunch, as a kettle was provided at our accommodation....
Basic but clean, pleasant accommodation at Sandee place (creaky bed though).
Excellent iced coffee at Ngeggee coffee - nice place with AC and wifi
Yummy pad Thai and sweet corn fritters at the night market. Plus those lovely donuts :)
