Nice riding but very wiggly\nfollowing the node system. We stopped at one point to look at a map or a sign\nor something, and a friendly Belgian stopped to chat to us. He loved hearing\nabout our adventure, as he'd also done some touring, including riding across\nthe states. I didn't get his name, but I did give him our blog, so maybe he'll\nfind this one day, hello if so!!</p>\n<p>We also did a bit of a detour to find water too - I would be interested to\nknow how other people get around this issue without buying bottles\nwater?!?!?!? We found a tap marked on maps.me that turned out to be in a\ncemetery, for people to water the flowers on the graves. Maybe this is an\nuntapped (sic) source?!</p>\n<p>We finally arrived in Aarschot, which looks quite nice and was easy to\nnavigate thanks to the nodes, and then headed on to the bivakzone as dusk\nstarted to threaten. The approach was quite gravelly but lovely through the\nwoods.</p>\n<p>The bivakzone itself was quite different - a big open space rather than\nnestling in the woods. It has a tent platform, a water pump (with odd-smelling\nwater) and a pit toilet (with a light!!) at three corners of the large square,\nwhich is a bit odd. But fine!
