We backtracked a short way and\nthen it was over the Moselle to Schengen and LUXEMBOURG.
\n
No Eurovelo signage here, and not brilliant signage full stop. I think we were\nprobably following the 'SaarLorLux' route, but we didn't know this for sure,\nso followed our GPS track...and saw a lot of signs for that route, but not at\nall of the turnings. It's worth looking into though, if you're trying to\nfollow EV5. Have to say, the info from the EV5 app is minimal - it clearly\ntells you which route to follow in Switzerland (as there are no EV5 signs) but\nnot elsewhere.
\n
Aside from all of that, it was a pretty ride. We climbed up away from the\nMoselle Valley, and then up, down, up, down.....but it did mean great views.\nWe feel fortunate to be here for the beautiful autumn colours! We also found\nlots of picnic tables which was very welcome - we usually find them just after\nwe've sat on the floor to have our lunch......
\n
Soon enough we were at the campsite in Alzingen, a suburb of Luxembourg city.\nJust 18 euros for the two of us, and it has lovely facilities (albeit bound by\na lot of rules!). Day off tomorrow to explore Luxembourg city, do washing\netc.....and for some serious planning. The end really feels in sight now and\nI'm impatient to know how long it's going to take!!
","frontmatter":{"date":null,"path":"/journal/235","title":""}}},"pageContext":{}}}
