Now that we're out of the\nmountains, the roads are less crammed together, and there are plenty of small\nbackroads. Things are a lot quieter!! Lovely rolling scenery too, not\ndissimilar to Devon....</p>\n<p>There was a decent climb to keep us honest!! The first 2km are up a forest\ntrack which was actually ok, surface-wise. We did have to lift the bikes over\na fallen tree at one point though!! Once back on the tarmac, things flatten\nout for a while, then it's up up up for over 5km. Although the sign claimed\nthe climb averaged 6</p>","frontmatter":{"date":null,"path":"/journal/223","title":""}}},"pageContext":{}}}
