Which is great, BUT the minor roads are terrible for long stretches. Two fun ferry crossings, 10p each!! The route out of the city is good - very busy, but fine. We've figured out that you just follow the mopeds at junctions (particularly when turning left). Stick in the pack, and you'll be fine! We saw TONS of dragon fruit plantations on the ride, which was pretty cool.

My Tho isn't much to write home about, but the riverfront and canal side are pleasant. There are also tons of veggie restaurants (search for 'chay' on google) which gets our vote!! We're staying at the Cong Doang hotel, which is a bit tatty (more like a Laos hotel!) but fine. 260,000 dong for a room at the back. We have paid already so I hope they don't try and charge us again when we check out.....
