Vientiane

Vientiane is a nice place. It feels less like a theme park than Luang Prabang, yet has a lot going for it. Beautiful temples and the Mekong for starters. A great spot for a rest day or two!

Breakfast was at Comma coffee - a lovely spot to chill out but the food / coffee wasn't amazing.
Second breakfast was at Kung's cafe - lives up the the hype, definitely worth seeking out.
Lunch was at PVO - also very good (Vietnamese) and conveniently close to Kung's.
Dinner was at State of Pasta - excellent food and extremely endearing service!

We had another 'cyclist blind date' this evening with a guy called Chris, half of Brits on bikes (find them on Facebook). Are all cyclists cool or is it just because we all have tons in common and plenty of stories to share? Anyway, a lovely evening!
